2015-16 StFX Track & Field News

The StFX Athletic Department honored the athletic accomplishments of their varsity athletes Tuesday evening at their annual awards gala at the Charles V. Keating Centre.

Fifth year X-Women sprinter/jumper Bridget Brennan was the lone StFX competitor at the CIS national track & field championship held this weekend in Toronto.

Bridget Brennan of the St. Francis Xavier X-Women’s track and field team is the Subway Atlantic University Sport female athlete of the week for the week ending Feb. 28, 2016.

The X-Men and X-Women track & field teams competed at the Subway AUS championship at the Universite de Moncton this weekend, bringing home a total of 23 medals and second place finishes on both sides.

X-Women track & field sprinter Jillian Nolan is the latest athlete featured in our Getting to Know your X-Women and X-Men series throughout the summer. Jillian recently completed her third year (second year eligibility) with the X-Women and is a Human Kinetics student from Truro, N.S.
