TFX third year midfielder Max Bodurtha was drafted by the Halifax Wanderers in today’s 2024 Canadian Premier League-U SPORTS Draft, presented by Degree.
A trio of X-Men Soccer athletes received recognition at the U SPORTS level at the championship banquet. Kyle Cordeiro was honoured as a 1st team all-Canadian, Logan Rieck is a 2nd team all-Canadian, and Isaac VanWychen was named to the U SPORTS all-rookie team.
The No. 2 seeded STFX X-Men will play the No. 7 seeded UBC Thunderbirds in the U SPORTS quarterfinal game on Thursday at 1:30 pm in Sydney, NS.
The X-Men Soccer team claimed three major AUS awards this week including Kyle Cordeiro as MVP, Isaac VanWychen as Rookie of the Year and Graham Kennedy as Coach of the Year.
