X-Women hockey forward Daley Oddy was named the StFX Female Student-Athlete of the Year, while X-Men soccer striker Daniel Hayfield and X-Men cross country/track & field distance runner Angus Rawling were co-awarded StFX Male Student-Athlete of the Year honors at the awards gala celebrated Wednesday evening.

Atlantic University Sport released the 2018 fall sports schedules today, including women’s rugby, men’s and women’s soccer as well as men’s and women’s cross country. Hosts for the 2018 fall championships were also confirmed.

StFX Athletics is pleased to profile our newest Danny Gallivan Memorial Scholarship recipients. Amy Graham from Nepean, Ont. plays defense with the X-Women hockey team, while Nic Dussault from Ottawa, Ont. is a forward with the X-Men soccer team.

On seniors’ day at StFX, the StFX X-Men and Dalhousie Tigers played out an enthralling encounter with only one goal able to separate the sides, a Dan Hayfield (Exeter, UK) goal from the penalty spot in the 88th minute.

The StFX X-Men maintained their position of second place in the AUS conference with a 4-0 shutout victory over the visiting Mount Allison Mounties on a chilly Saturday afternoon.
