Media Information

STFX Athletics has policies in place regarding photography and videography within our facilities. No photography or videography is permitted without prior approval from the STFX Manager of Varsity Athletics & Communications. If permission is granted, all activity must be conducted under the supervision of a STFX Athletics staff member.

Anyone wishing to take photographs or video inside the STFX Saputo Centre, STFX Keating Centre arenas, STFX Stadium or outdoors on or surrounding fields must request permission in advance.

STFX Varsity Games

For single-game media or photo credentials, please email kmckenna@stfx.ca at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled game time.

Please note that credentials are only issued to working media personnel/photographers on assignment from a recognized media organization or to approved photographers, videographers or staff from AUS/U SPORTS member schools.

Credentials must be presented upon entry and upon request at any time.

Credentials are non-transferable, may be revoked at the sole discretion of STFX Athletics, and will automatically terminate if any terms are breached.

Holding an AUS Media Pass does not guarantee admittance — a request must still be submitted at least 48 hours in advance.

The use of unmanned aerial vehicles (drones) during STFX games is strictly prohibited.

Photographers / Videographers are not permitted in bench areas.

Athlete and Coach Interview Requests

Interviews with STFX X-Men and X-Women student-athletes, coaches, or staff may be arranged by contacting the Manager of Varsity Athletics & Communications. We request at least 24 hours’ notice when possible. Student-athletes have been instructed to refer all interview requests to the Communications Manager. STFX Athletics will not provide direct contact information for student-athletes without their prior consent.

2025 AUS Men’s Soccer Championship

STFX Athletics will be hosting the 2025 AUS Men’s Soccer Championship at STFX Stadium from October 23-26. Separate media credentials will in place for this championship. Please contact Krista McKenna at least 48 hours in advance of games.
