X-Men win team title at Moncton Invitational
The STFX X-Men took top team honours at the Moncton Invitational on Saturday afternoon on the field adjacent to the J.-Louis-Lévesque Arena on the Universite de Moncton campus.
Moncton, NB – The STFX X-Men took top team honours at the Moncton Invitational on Saturday afternoon on the field adjacent to the J.-Louis-Lévesque Arena on the Universite de Moncton campus.

In the final team standings, the X-Men finished first with 44 points, followed closely by Dalhousie who had 46. Memorial came third with 62 points, followed by Moncton (79) Aigles Bleues and UPEI (94).
Andrew Peverill from Saint Mary's crossed the line first with a time of 26:17, 23 seconds ahead of Levi Moulton (26:40) of the Memorial Sea-Hawks. STFX's Liam Patterson took third place with a 27:36 result.
The X-Men had an additional two runners in the top ten as Luke MacDonald (28:15) and Owen Flemming (28:18) came in sixth and seventh spots.
Rounding out the X results were Jack Wierzbicki (29:01) in 15th and Noah Proulx (29:53) in 25th.
The X-Men will next see action on Saturday, October 8th when they travel to Quebec City for the RSEQ Interlock meet.
