X-Men basketball guard Avan Nava is the latest athlete featured in our Getting to Know your X-Women and X-Men series throughout the summer. Avan is a second year Arts student from Mississauga, Ont.

I can't wait to do the following after the pandemic?
Use a nice indoor basketball court and play some games

When I am not studying or playing my sport, in my spare time I like to?

If you could trade lives with anyone for a day, who would it be and why?
Fred VanVleet, because from a basketball standpoint I want to see how much work it takes to go from a undervalued player to having a solidified spot in the NBA.

What is one thing that annoys you?
I cant say. Then people will know how to annoy me.

What is one thing you have on your 'bucket list'?
Career wise:  pro basketball player, and life wise: travel to many places with Klaudia such as Hawaii or Disney World.

If you could come out at the start of a game to an entrance song, what would it be?
Any song or no song at all

Something interesting about my hometown is?
Toronto Pearson airport is actually in Mississauga, not Toronto.

My favorite moment to date as a StFX student-athlete is?
Losing to Dalhousie the championship game, lots to learn from that experience.
