Toronto, ON – The reigning U SPORTS silver medalist Ryerson Rams handed the StFX X-Men a 139-72 loss on Sunday afternoon in exhibition action.
The Rams stunned the X-Men in the first quarter, scoring 49 points. They lead 81-34 at halftime with 48 points coming from three-point range.
JV Mukama was the top Ryerson scorer with 24 points. Myles Charvis netted 22 and Jayden Frederick and Keevon Small each scored 20.
Azaro Roker lead the X-Men with 13 points and 5 rebounds while Thomas Legallais scored 12. Daniel Passley had 11 and Tristen Ross 10.
The trio of games in Ontario marked the end of pre-season exhibition play for the X-Men. They begin AUS regular season play on November 2nd and 3rd when they will host the UNB Reds at 8:00 pm on both evenings on Coach K Court at the StFX Oland Centre.
