X-Men Defeat Reds

X-Men Defeat Reds
The CIS No. 5 StFX X-Men knocked off the UNB Varsity Reds this past Saturday night by a score of 102-85.

Following Wednesday night's thriller in Halifax against the Saint Mary's Huskies, the XMen
needed a game where the decision would have a final score that showed the XMen
winning by more than single digits.

Christian Upshaw was the top scorer for the X-Men with 28 points on 11-of-18
shooting from the floor, while Alberto Rodriguez chipped in with 19 and Jeremy Dunn
16.

After a not so close first half, the Varsity Reds chipped away at the lead, winning the
third and fourth quarters, but ultimately not getting ahead in the end.

New Brunswick native Andrew Wright was the high scorer for the V-Reds with 26 points
while Duston Anthony - nephew of X-Men assistant Denton - scored 15 points.
