Pita Pit X-Men Football Offensive Player of the Week
X-Men running back Malcolm Bussey was named the StFX Football Offensive Player of the Week for the week of Oct. 31, 2021. Malcolm, a 1st year Arts student from Hammonds Plains, NS was the Player of the Game in the X-Men's 46-0 victory over SMU Saturday. He scored two rushing touchdowns and had 14 carries for 162 yards, averaging 11.4 yards/rush. Malcolm's first TD was STFX's first scoring play in the opening quarter from 2 yards out, then he scored on a nice 59-yard run in the 3rd quarter. Malcolm is currently second overall in AUS rushing, averaging 90.2 yards/game.  

Pita Pit X-Men Football Defensive Player of the Week
X-Men defensive lineman Alex Fedchun was named the StFX Football Defensive Player of the Week for the week of Oct. 31, 2021. Alex, a 4th year Human Kinetics student from Calgary, AB had four solo tackles in STFX's 46-0 win over SMU Saturday. Alex also had a sack for a loss of three yards, with two total tackles for a loss of nine yards. He added a forced fumble and breakup for the X defense. Alex is currently 7th overall in AUS tackling with 25.5 on the season, averaging 5.1 tackles/game. 

Pita Pit X-Men Football Special Teams Player of the Week
X-Men returner Isaac Fagnan was named the StFX Football Special Teams Player of the Week for the week of Oct. 31, 2021. Isaac, a 5th year Business student from Bonnyville, AB played a key role on special teams in StFX's 46-0 win over SMU on Saturday. Isaac scored a 31 yard touchdown off a faked field goal attempt in the 2nd quarter, and was also strong on punts and kicks. He had seven punt returns in the game for 50 yards and one kick return for 17 yards. On offense he also had two receptions for 25 yards. Isaac currently leads the AUS in all-purpose yards, averaging 123.8 yards/game.
