Pita Pit STFX X-Men Football Offensive Player of the Week
X-Men quarterback Silas Fagnan was named the StFX Football Offensive Player of the Week for the week of Oct. 24, 2021. Silas, a 3rd year Arts student from Bonnyville, AB had an incredible game for the X-Men in their 48-21 win over Bishop's Saturday, completing 25 of 26 attempts for a 96% pass completion percentage. Silas had 321 passing yards and threw 4 touchdowns. He also rushed for a one-yard TD and had 4 rushes for 17 yards in the game. The X-Men player of the game, Silas currently leads the AUS and is 4th in the country in passing, averaging 288.0 yards/game with a 69.3% completion rate and has 10 passing TD's and 3 rushing TD's on the season.

X-Men linebacker Ben VonMeuhldorfer was named the StFX Football Defensive Player of the Week for the week of Oct. 24, 2021. Ben, a 2nd year Education student from Calgary, AB was a force on the X-Men defense in their 48-21 win over Bishop's on Saturday. He led the team in tackling with 6 including 4 solo tackles, and also had a tackle for a loss of 1 yard, a forced fumble, fumble recovery, breakup and a major interception. Ben's interception was run in 44 yards for a pick-six to give the X-Men a 31-14 lead five minutes in the 3rd quarter. He is currently 5th overall in AUS tackling with 22 on the season.

X-Men kicker/punter Ben Hadley was named the StFX Football Special Teams Player of the Week for the week of Oct. 24, 2021. Ben, a 2nd year Business student from Halifax, NS had several kicks with excellent locations in the X-Men's 48-21 win over Bishop's Saturday. He had two punts for 75 yards, averaging 37.5 yards/punt, along with seven kick-offs for 395 total yards, averaging 56.4 yards/kick.
