X-Men Football Offensive Player of the Week
X-Men running back Jordan Socholotiuk was named the StFX Football Offensive Player of the Week for the week ending Sept. 18, 2016. Jordan, a 3rd year Human Kinetics student from Fort McMurray, AB was a big part of the X-Men offense that defeated Acadia 38-7 on Saturday. He had 24 carries for 148 total yards in the game, averaging 6.2 yards/carry. His 242 total yards this season currently lead the AUS.

X-Men Football Defensive Player of the Week
X-Men defensive lineman Kyle Forde was named the StFX Football Defensive Player of the Week for the week ending Sept. 18, 2016. Kyle, a third year Arts student from Ajax, Ont. led the X-Men in tackles in their 38-17 win over Acadia on Saturday. He had 7.5 tackles (6 solo & 3 assisted) including a big 4.5 sacks on the afternoon, accounting for a loss of 17 yards on those plays.

X-Men Football Special Teams Player of the Week
X-Men punt returner Kaion Grant was named the StFX Football Special Teams Player of the Week for the week ending Sept. 18, 2016. Kaion, a second year Human Kinetics student from Toronto, Ont. had 8 punt returns in the X-Men's 38-7 win over Acadia on Saturday. Kaion tallied 84 total return yards and averaged 10.5 yards per return. On offense, he also had 6 receptions for 47 yards in the game.
