X-Men Football Offensive Player of the Week
X-Men receiver Dejaun Martin was named the StFX Football Offensive Player of the Week for the week ending Sept. 11, 2016. Dejaun, a 2nd year Business student from Scarborough, ON had a 79 yard touchdown reception early in the 1st quarter to give the X-Men a 10-0 lead over MtA. They went on to win the season opening game 29-14 with Dejaun tallying 8 receptions for 127 total yards.

X-Men Football Defensive Player of the Week
X-Men linebacker Adam Kuntz was named the StFX Football Defensive Player of the Week for the week ending Sept. 11, 2016. Adam, a fourth year Business student from Camrose, Alta. led all defensive players in tackles in the X-Men's 24-19 win over MtA on Saturday. He had 12 tackles (11 solo & 2 assisted) including one tackle for a loss of 1 yard and also forced one fumble in the game. 

X-Men Football Special Teams Player of the Week
X-Men punter Kieran Burnham was named the StFX Football Special Teams Player of the Week for the week ending Sept. 11, 2016. Keiran, a third year Arts student from Cambridge, Ont. averaged 41.6 yards per punt as he recorded 9 punts for 374 total yards in the X-Men's 29-14 win over MtA on Saturday. He was also able to pin the returning team to the sideline on 8 of the 9 punts and had a long punt of 60 yards and 1 punt within the 20.
