The accolades and accomplishments, however, didn’t stop there. Following Muamba’s final season he was once again, for the third time in a row, invited to the All-Canadian ceremonies. This time, however, he came away with the big prize, being awarded the President’s Trophy which goes to the top Defensive Player in the entire Country. Footage from the Gala of Henoc giving his speech can be found here:

With Muamba’s CIS career in the books, he is now looking to make a move to the next level. Henoc has been continually ranked among the top prospects for the upcoming CFL Draft, sitting at the #10 spot on a list compiled by the CFL Scouting Bureau. He moved up the charts, however, with his recent performance at the CFL E-Camp, the national Combine for Draft eligible players. Henoc put up some impressive numbers during the strength and speed tests, and finished in the top 5 in the Bench Press, the Shuttle, and the Pro Agility tests. He also turned many heads once the pads were put on and players were pitted against each other in 1 on 1 Drills. Another big part of the E-Camp is the personal interview period, and the way players generally conduct themselves throughout the weekend. Henoc once again impressed in this area, as he has grown into a mature and well spoken young man. Here are some links regarding Henoc’s performance at the E-Camp:

To say the sky is the limit for this young man is an understatement. The work ethic that he developed during his time at StFX, coupled with his natural gifts and athleticism, will surely equate to a long professional football career. Everyone at StFX is excited to watch this player continue to grow, and we are confident that he will represent our school well in all his future endeavors.
