Bio
Francis ‘Chebot’ Cormier joins the StFX Hall
of Fame as an athlete, playing a key role of a dominant varsity
hockey squad. Chebot was a prolific scorer and captain for the
X-Men during his tenure on the ice. Chebot’s skillful and
inspired play guided the X-Men to three consecutive Maritime
Championships in 1956, 1957, and 1958. During his four year career,
Chebot was consistently one of the top
league scorers.
