Richard Bella enters the Hall of Fame with both impressive
individual and team accomplishments from his four year stint with
the basketball X-Men. Making an immediate impact upon the
X-Men line-up, Richard was named the AUAA Rookie of the Year in
1990, and continued his dominant play, earning AUAA all-star status
in each of the four years he played. In 1991 he received
all-Canadian distinction, while his career culminated with a CIAU
national championship victory in 1993. Richard led the X-Men to
their first ever national championship win as the Tournament Most
Valuable Player. He finished his career fifth on the X-Men all-time
scoring list with 2046 points, and third overall in career rebounds
with 1344.
