Adele Belliveau played five years on the X-Women basketball team and two years with the women’s field hockey team during her time at StFX. Adele was captain of the X-Women basketball team for three years and was the first female basketball player in StFX history to obtain 1000 points. She was also the first female student-athlete to compete in a StFX varsity sport for five years. When she graduated, Adele held both the StFX career records for points at 1068 and rebounds at 450. An AUAA all-star on three occasions, Adele was recognized as the StFX female student-athlete of the year in 1983.
