X-Women cross country runner Elizabeth MacDonald is the latest athlete featured in our Getting to Know your X-Women and X-Men series throughout the summer. Liz recently completed her second year with the X-Women and is a Human Nutrition student from Bedford, N.S.

Going to Newfoundland for CIS championships, the weather made for very interesting racing conditions.

When you are desperate to find a parking spot and someone is taking up two spots!

Tell us something interesting about your hometown?
Bedford was once voted one of the "best communities to live in" in Canada by Macleans magazine! I'd have to agree :)

4. Summer activity:  anything that involves the lake (swimming or boating/tubing)

5. Social Media:  Instagram

6. TV show:  don't watch a lot of TV but a common show I'll watch would be Say Yes to the Dress (only because it seemed to be on every time I do decide to watch TV)

7. Vacation spot:  Dominican

8. Singer/Band:  don't have a specific one but I love country music, Billy Currington is definitely a contender
