Getting to Know...Ginny Anderson

X-Women cross country runner Ginny Anderson is the latest athlete featured in our Getting to Know your X-Women and X-Men series throughout the summer. Ginny recently completed her third year with the X-Women and is a Business student from Antigonish, N.S.

Nickname:  Gin-Dawg Millionaire is a common nickname among my sisters.

My favorite StFX sporting moment to date is…?
Breaking my last 3000m time by 20 seconds last track season. Running cross-country AUS for the first time last year was amazing as well.

If I could meet any famous person it would be…?
Karl Lagerfeld the designer for Chanel.

My favorite Disney movie or character is…?
Hercules. The song I can go the distance tears me up almost every time.

My biggest pet peeve is…?
Slow walkers

My dream job is…?
Working as a top clothing buyer for Holt Renfrew.

My biggest fan is…?
I'd say my whole family and boyfriend is my entire biggest fan. I wouldn't be running in university without the encouragement of my sister Tory though.

Tell us something interesting about your hometown?
Antigonish has some beautiful beaches, lakes, etc. and no one at StFX usually knows about it as a student, which I always thought was a shame.
