X-Women soccer striker Nicole MacNeil is the latest athlete featured in our Getting to Know your X-Women and X-Men series throughout the summer. Nicole recently completed her third year with the X-Women and is a Business student from New Glasgow, N.S..

What brought you to StFX?
I’m from N.S. and I always knew I wanted to go to X. My dad went to X also, so he was a very positive influence on my decision to come here – I knew it would be the perfect experience for academics and athletics and I was right!

What has been your best moment in a StFX uniform so far?
Winning AUS in my first year! The weather that weekend was unbelievable – it was snowing/hailing/raining – I’ve never been so cold on the field. So to be able to battle against that and come out on top with a Championship banner was definitely my top moment!

One thing I cannot live without is…?
My family and friends!! 

If I could have super-hero powers I would…?
Be invisible

My biggest pet peeve is…?
Animal abusers and stinky feet

My dream vacation destination is…?
Greece
