X-Women Soccer top AUS standings
After two full weeks of competition, the StFX X-Women remain the only undefeated team in AUS women's soccer, currently sitting atop the AUS conference with a 3-0-0 record and 9 points.

On a road trip this past weekend, the X-Women earned a 2-0 win over the UPEI Panthers on Saturday evening and a 3-1 win over the Mount Allison Mounties Sunday afternoon.

Goal scorers for the X-Women in the 2-0 win over UPEI were Eugenia Renderos and Amy MacKinnon while Anna Thompson earned the shutout win in nets for the blue and white, her second shut out of the season. StFX Player of the Game Elissa Riel made a sliding save on defense to keep the shut out in tact.

On Sunday afternoon, three different X-Women hit the back of the mesh as Allie Anderson, Sarah Mitchell and rookie striker Nicole MacNeil each scored goals. Mitchell opened the socring in the game with a goal 28 minutes into the first half, while Anderson scored at the 73 minute mark.

Kailey Bower scored the lone Mountie goal in the 81st minute, while MacNeil sealed the victory for the X-Women with her goal in the 86th minute. Defender Laura Thompson earned Player of the Game honors for StFX while Kat Fraser was Player of the Game for the Mounties.

The X-Women will be home at Oland Stadium this weekend for a pair of games. On Saturday, Sept. 26th they host the Moncton Aigles Bleues (2-1-1) at 2:00 pm, while on Sunday, also at 2:00 pm, the UNB Varsitry Reds (0-4-0) will be in town.
