2025 AUS rugby schedule released

(HALIFAX, N.S.) Atlantic University Sport released the 2025 rugby schedule today.

The 2025 AUS women's rugby regular season will kick off with two games on opening weekend. The STFX X-Women will host the UPEI Panthers Friday, Sept. 5 at 7 p.m. The defending champion Axewomen will then visit the Saint Mary's Huskies Sunday, Sept. 7 for a 2 p.m. game.

Acadia will host their own home opener Friday, Sept. 19 at 7 p.m. versus the STFX in a rematch of the 2024 conference final.

Regular season play will wrap up Thanksgiving weekend with two games Friday, Oct. 10 at 7 p.m. followed by the start of the AUS playoffs the following week.

The 2025 Bell AUS Rugby Championship will then feature a three-team playoff format. The team that finishes third in the regular season standings will visit the second-place team in Week 7, with the winner moving on to visit the first-place team the following week in the championship final game.

The 2025 U SPORTS women's rugby championship is being hosted Oct. 29 to Nov. 2 by the University of British Columbia.
