Getting to Know...Katherine Culligan

X-Women Rugby center Katherine Culligan is the latest athlete featured in the Getting to Know your X-Women/X-Men series this summer. The Halifax, NS native recently completed her second year in the BASCH program at StFX. 

Nickname: Kat 

Pregame Routine: Lots of loud music and dancing with the team in the locker room 

Go-to warm-up song: X Gon' Give It To Ya by DMX (naturally) 

Favourite moment to date as a StFX student-athlete: Winning this past year's AUS Championship at Acadia 

When I'm not studying or playing my sport, I like to: Get outside and go for walks/hikes with my dogs 

If I could trade lives with anyone for one day, it would be: Serena Williams, because she is an outstanding athlete and role model. I think her day-to-day life would be very cool. 

The next place I want to travel is: Indonesia 

My biggest pet peeve is: Messiness 

One thing on my bucket list is: Scuba dive the Great Barrier Reef
