Getting to Know...Sabrina McDaid

X-Women rugby flyhalf Sabrina McDaid is the latest athlete featured in our Getting to Know your X-Women and X-Men series throughout the summer. Sabrina recently completed her third year with the X-Women and is an Arts student from Scarborough, Ont.

Nickname: Sab, Sabby, Sabryna

My favorite moment to date as a StFX student-athlete is…?
This is a toughy, winning Nationals at StFX in my first year was one of the most memorable moments of my StFX career. However winning last year was also very hard to beat!

If I could be Prime Minister for one day I would…?
I would probably request a personal Beyonce concert, with dinner following that of course.

My favorite Disney movie or character is…?
The Jungle Book

My biggest pet peeve is…?
Wow this is a hard question, there's a lot! But when people touch my bun my alter ego comes out! Don't touch the bun!

My dream job is…?
To get paid while doing nothing. But firefighting will suffice.

One thing I love about StFX is…?
The one-of-a kind experience everyone gets here, as well as our school spirit. Everyone always says how much they love X and how amazing it is. It's very unique, and I'm very thankful I've gotten the opportunity to experience it!

Tell us something interesting about your hometown?
Well my home town of Toronto has the worst sports teams every year!

7. Vacation spot: Not sure, I haven't been there yet!
