The X-Women rested some of their veteran players for the evening's match but recognized the achievements of fourth year graduates Vanessa Duffley, Casey Jones, Allie Munroe, Emma Taylor and Jayme Ward prior to the match in their final home game of the season.
The second half scoring saw Agnew kick three more consecutive converts on tries from Kristine Chinner, Jaelei Meyer and Carolyn Stewart.
Meyer then scored her second try of the evening as Allison converted, and MacLellan capped off a two-try evening with the final score of the night for the X-Women.
Third year X-Women lock Brianna Graham was singled out as the Subway Player of the Game for her defensive efforts.
With the 6-1 record the X-Women pull ahead of the Acadia Axewomen (5-0) in the AUS standings but have two games in hand. The Axewomen will host UPEI (1-3) Saturday afternoon.
StFX will hit the road next weekend for non-conference exhibition action as they travel to McGill to face the Martlets.
Next on the AUS schedule is their final regular season game at Acadia on October 19th where the X-Women will be looking to reverse a loss to the Axewomen in the first game of the season.
