X-Women rugby well represented on U20 national team
Five members of the AUS champion and CIS silver medalist X-Women rugby team will be representing their country this summer on the Canadian Under 20 national team, along with three incoming X-Women freshman.

On the roster for the women's U20 national team are Asya Bartley (Ottawa, ON) in the prop position, Julie Emmerson (Moncton, NB) at hooker, Jamee George (Brandon, MB) and Jillian MacLaren (Ottawa, ON), both at the lock postion and Stephanie MacKinnon (Rothesay, NB) at center.

These current X-Women are joined on the U20 Canadian squad by incoming 2009 StFX freshmen Jessica Jacobs (Caledon, ON), Tyson Beaukeboom (Uxbridge, ON) and Amanda Thornborough (Brandon, MB). On the non-travelling reserve are another pair of X-Women incoming first year players Bobbi-Jo Cronk (Kingston, ON) and Olivia deMerchant (Mapledale, NB).

The team will travel to Wales this summer for international competition.
