The X-Women rugby team were in Ottawa over Thanksgiving weekend for exhibition play and came home with two wins to add to their undefeated season. They shut out the University of Ottawa 75-0 on Friday afternoon. Lisa Gauthier scored 3 tries, Paige Norgaard and Asya Bartley each scored 2 tries a piece and single tries went to Kim Armstrong, Jill MacLaren, Tanya Boiteau, Tina Hansen, Ghislaine Landry and Julianne Purcell. Courtnay Malcolm kicked 5 converts for the blue and white to round out the scoring. On Saturday the X-Women scrimmaged against the Ottawa Irish club team and earned a 42-19 victory.

The X-Women will have the upcoming weekend off and will next see action on Saturday, Oct. 25 when they host the AUS championship on home turf. Game time is 2:00 pm at Oland Stadium and the X-Women will be taking on the winner of the Saint Mary's-Acadia semi-final being played this weekend.
