Ghislaine Landry of the StFX X-Women's rugby team is the Atlantic University Sport Female Athlete of the Week for the week ending October 12th, 2008. Ghislaine, a third year Human Kinetics student from Toronto, ON scored seven tries (35 points) last Wednesday in the X-Women's 60-0 road win over the Saint Mary's Huskies, giving the X-Women a perfect 6-0 regular season record and a bye into the Atlantic conference championship game. In the win, Landry, the reigning CIS Player of the Year, broke her own conference record for the most tries and the most points scored in a single game. She also established a new Atlantic conference record with 22 tries scored in total over six games this season and is the Atlantic conference career leader in scoring with 272 points in just three seasons of play.
