The defending national champions, University of Lethbridge Pronghorns hold on to the top spot after downing No. 5, Alberta, 49-12 in exhibition play on the weekend.

Ten time Atlantic Association champions, St. FX move up to the number 2 spot this week after posting three one-sided scores in conference play. The defending national champions, University of Lethbridge Pronghorns hold on to the top spot after downing No. 5, Alberta, 49-12 in exhibition play on the weekend.
The top five teams have seen some change in positions with Guelph off to a promising start and moving to the No. 3 spot. Laval, Brock and McMaster make the biggest moves on to the Top 10 list holding down the No. 6, 7 and 8 spots respectively. UBC holds the No. 9 spot while Queens appears at No. 10 under the guidance of Ontario junior coach, Beth Barz.
\r\nThe rankings are a joint project between Rugby Canada and the CIS Rugby Coach’s Association to further promote women’s rugby. The next ranking will be released on October 5.
