Ruggers chalk up Island 'W'

Sep 17, 2007 - The CIS defending champion X-Women rugby team added another victory to their win column on Saturday afternoon as they defeated the UPEI Panthers 26-5. In the wet game played on the Island, four different X-Women scored tries on route to the win including Kim Armstrong, Megan Pritchard, Jill MacLaren and Ghislaine Landry. Courtney Malcolm had two penalty kicks for the X-Women to round off the scoring while Rebecca Robinson scored the lone try for the Panthers.\r\n\r\nThe X-Women now hold a 2-0 record in AUS league play and are tied for first in the standings with Saint Mary�۪s. They next see action on Sunday afternoon, Sept. 23 when they will host the Huskies at 2:00 pm in their home opener at Oland Stadium.
