X-Women hockey moves up to No.5 in nation

Varsity Blues move up to No. 1 in men’s swimming
OTTAWA (CIS) – The University of Toronto Varsity Blues are the new top-ranked team in CIS men’s swimming.
The Blues earned 580 points in this week’s rankings compared to 342 for the Calgary Dinos, who drop to No. 2. The McGill Redmen (284) are the big winners in the new Top 10 as they move up five spots all the way to No. 3. Reigning national champion UBC (260) falls two positions to fifth place.
In other CIS sports, Windsor (women’s basketball), Carleton (men’s basketball), McGill (women’s hockey), Alberta (men’s hockey & men’s volleyball), UBC (women’s swimming) and Trinity Western (women’s volleyball) all hold on to the pole position.
