The AUS defending champion X-Women will now meet Moncton in the championship game taking place at 2:00 pm Sunday in PEI. Moncton has one AUS title to their credit, in 2006-07. They earned their ticket to the championship game with a 4-1 semi-final win over Dalhousie.

Both teams have already secured a spot in the CIS championship taking place March 19-22 at StFX University, but Sunday’s game is all about the pride of taking an AUS championship title with them. They are 2-2 in head-to-head regular season games this season, with all games being decided by a single goal, including one overtime and two shootout games.
