Bio

Born and raised in Brockville, Ont., Alana discovered a passion for sports at an early age, with basketball and soccer quickly becoming central to her life. While she enjoyed both, basketball ultimately became her focus - leading her to compete in Ontario's Junior Elite League (JUEL) before committing to play at StFX University.

At StFX she pursued a Bachelor of Science in Human Kinetics, combining her academic interests with her love for sport and physical activity. She went on to complete her Bachelor of Education and is currently working toward her Master of Education while serving as the Active Living Coordinator for the Town of Antigonish. She enjoys giving back to the sport that has had such an impact on her life and sharing in the journey of the incredible women that pursue it now.

Now in her 4th season with the X-Women, Alana has taken on a leading role with the NEXT LEVEL Academy.
