Six track athletes to compete in Saskatoon at nationals

The STFX track team is sending six athletes to compete at the U SPORTS national championship this coming weekend, March 9-11 at the Saskatoon Field House, as hosted by the University of Saskatchewan.

On Friday evening, March 10th, STFX will have athletes represented in three different events. AUS champion Allie Sandluck will be competing in the women's 3000m race at 6:30 pm GMT, while AUS silver medalist Jacob Benoit will be in the men's 3000m race following the women's event at 6:50 pm GMT.

Later on Friday evening at 8:00 pm GMT, the AUS silver medalist 4x800m relay team will take to the track with X team members Caroline Ash, Mairin Canning, Brynn Hebert, Caden Lee.

Caroline Ash, the AUS champion in the 1500m race, will compete in that event on Saturday, March 11th at 2:45 pm GMT.
