Kiyara Letlow from the Cape Breton CAPERS women's basketball team is the Atlantic University Sport Female Athlete of the Week for the week ending Dec. 1, 2024.

A fourth-year forward from Toronto, Ont., Letlow led the CAPERS to a weekend sweep over the Memorial Sea-Hawks with two double doubles.

In Friday's 87-63 win, she managed a game-high 23 points and 13 rebounds to go along with six assists and a block.

The CAPERS earned a 79-75 win Saturday. Letlow once again led all players with a game-high 18 points and a whopping 21 rebounds. She also added three assists and a steal.

Heading into the holiday break, Letlow is averaging a U SPORTS-leading 22.3 points and 15.9 rebounds per game.

STFX X-Men hockey forward Ethan Burroughs is the Atlantic University Sport Male Athlete of the Week for the week ending Dec. 1, 2024.

A first-year business student from Georgetown, Ont., Burroughs tallied five points in two STFX wins this past weekend.

In Wednesday's 6-2 win over the Dalhousie Tigers, he had two assists.

He then managed a hat trick Friday night in Charlottetown, P.E.I. as the X-Men defeated the Panthers 6-1.
