Paige Grenier of the UNB Reds women's hockey team is the Subway Atlantic University Sport female athlete of the week for the week ending Feb. 17, 2019.
A first-year kinesiology student Olds, Alta., Grenier played a key role in two wins over the UPEI Panthers, as UNB swept their best-of-three AUS quarter-final series.
In Thursday's series opener, Grenier scored the game-winning goal in the Reds 3-2 victory. She was named Subway Player of the Game for her efforts.
On Sunday, she added another goal and an assist in the series-clinching 4-3 win, in Charlottetown.
Grenier and her Reds teammates now move on to the AUS semi-final round.

Name: Chase Marchand
University: St. Francis Xavier University
Sport: Men's Hockey
Position: Goaltender
Hometown: Halifax, N.S.
Year of eligibility: Third
Academic program: BBA
Chase Marchand from the StFX X-Men hockey team is the Subway Atlantic University Sport male athlete of the week for the week ending Feb. 17, 2019.
A third-year goaltender from Halifax, N.S., Marchand led the X-Men to a 2-1 series win over Acadia in the AUS quarter-finals.
In Game 1 he had 34 saves in a 5-0 shutout victory. In a close Game 2 overtime loss, he was named StFX's player of the game with 54 saves on the night.
Marchand followed up with a 41-save performance in a 4-1 win in the deciding Game 3.
The 2018 U SPORTS goaltender of the year, he had a .910 save percentage and 2.90 GGA in AUS regular season play this year.
The X-Men now advance to the semi-final playoff round where they face the Saint Mary's Huskies in a best-of-five series.
