Subway STFX Female Athlete of the Week
X-Women Soccer forward Hannah Yantha was named the STFX Female Athlete of the Week for the week ending Sept. 11, 2022. Hannah, a second year Human Kinetics student from Cambridge, Ont. was the Player of the Game in the X-Women's 3-1 victory over UPEI on Sunday afternoon. She scored the game winning goal in the 63rd minute, and also made the key play to set up STFX's first goal of the game. In Friday night's loss to Acadia, Hannah assisted on the X-Women's second goal on a highlight set-up.  

Subway STFX Male Athlete of the Week
X-Men Soccer midfielder Kyle Cordeiro was named STFX Male Athlete of the Week for the week ending Sept. 11, 2022. Kyle, a third year Business student from Oakville, Ont. had two goals and two assists in two X-Men shutout victories over the weekend and was instrumental in STFX's early season success. In their 2-0 win over Acadia Friday night, Kyle scored both X goals and was named player of the game. In Sunday's 3-0 win over UPEI, he assisted on both the second and third goals of the game.
