X-Women Soccer midfielder Cheyenne Bower was named the STFX Female Athlete of the Week for the week ending Sept. 1, 2024. Cheyenne, a second year Human Kinetics student from London, ON scored the lone goal – which held up as the game winner – in STFX’s 1-0 win over Saint Mary’s Friday night in Halifax to open the AUS season. Cheyenne is picking up on her strong midfield play which saw her named to the AUS second team all-star team last season and to the U SPORTS all-rookie team.
