Subway STFX Male Athlete of the Week

X-Men Cross Country runner Jack O’Connell was named STFX Male Athlete of the Week for the week ending Sept. 10, 2023. Jack, a second year Business student from Toronto, Ont. placed second overall at the STFX Invitational meet on Saturday. He crossed the line with a time of 27:19 in second spot amongst the 46 racers, helping to lead the X-Men to a first place team finish overall. Five more of his X teammates placed in the top 10 as they garnered 24 points in the team win. The placing marked Jack’s first podium finish as an X-Man.
