X-Women Hockey forward Ellie Brown was named the STFX Female Athlete of the Week for the week ending Jan. 29, 2023. Ellie, a second year Arts student from Kemptville, Ont. had six points (1G, 5A) in three games this week. In Wednesday’s 5-3 win over UPEI she had three assists and was the player of the game. She followed up on the weekend with two assists in a 5-0 win at Mount A on Friday night, and scored a key goal Sunday to preserve a STFX 3-1 win over first place UNB. Ellie currently has 15 points on the season (6G, 9A).
