X-Women Track runner Aidan MacDonald was named the STFX Female Athlete of the Week for the week ending March 20, 2022. Aidan, a 4th year Business student from Antigonish, NS won four medals at the AUS championship this past weekend in Moncton, including three gold. Aidan was the gold medalist and AUS champion in the 600m race, finishing with a 1:36.20 showing. She also claimed top spot in the 1000m event, clocking in at 2:58.15. Aidan anchored the X-Women 4x800m relay team to gold, and was also a member of the 4x400m relay team who earned the bronze medal. She has qualified to represent STFX at the U SPORTS national championship in Saint John, NB coming up March 31 – April 2.
