X-Women Track runner Aidan MacDonald was named the STFX Female Athlete of the Week for the week ending Feb. 20, 2022. Aidan, a fourth year Business student from Antigonish, NS came first in both the 1000m and one mile race this past weekend at the UNB Reds Invitational. She ran a time of 3:04.61 to win the 1000m race, followed by a time of 5:08.11 to win the one mile race, ranking her first in the AUS in the one mile/ 1500m. Aidan is also coming off an impressive 11th place showing out of 63 in the 1000m at the Boston meet where she ran 2:50.61.
