X-Women Rugby fullback Danielle Franada was named the STFX Female Athlete of the Week for the week ending Oct. 10, 2021. Dani, a fifth year Business student from Grand Prairie, AB earned STFX player of the game honours in the X-Women’s 68-7 victory over SMU on Wednesday, scoring 24 points in the game. She scored two tries and booted seven conversions to add to her league-leading 70 points on the season. Dani also moved into sole possession of 5th place overall on the AUS career scoring list with 221.
