X-Women Basketball guard Tahmala Thorpe was named the StFX Female Athlete of the Week for the week ending February 28, 2021. Tahmala, a first year Arts student from Mississauga, Ont. was named the X-Women Basketball player of the week for her ongoing efforts on the court. As a first year athlete she has shown continuous improvement. Off the court, she is a member of the BVA and spent last Thursday morning donating books to youth at the local schools in honour of African Heritage Month.
