X-Women Basketball guard Aliyah Fraser was named the StFX Female Athlete of the Week for the week ending Nov. 10, 2019. Aliyah, a first year Arts-Science Health student from New Glasgow, NS was the player of the game in StFX’s 96-88 win over UPEI on Saturday. She scored a game-high 27 points and added 5 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 steals. Aliyah also played well in a loss Friday to the same UPEI team, scoring eight points.
