X-Men Basketball guard Gatluak James was named the STFX Male Athlete of the Week for the week ending Nov. 3, 2024. Gatluak, a fifth year Human Kinetics student from Windsor, ON played two strong games for the X-Men in a pair of wins over Dalhousie. In Wednesday’s 85-57 victory, he scored 7 points and added 6 rebounds, 1 assist an 1 block. He followed up with a game-high 25 points in Friday night’s 69-63 win on the road. Gatluak also had 5 rebounds, 2 assists and a steal in that game.
