Several members of the X-Women and X-Men track and field team competed this past weekend at the CIS championship, hosted by the University of Alberta.

The StFX track and field team is sending a small contingent of qualifiers to the CIS national championship taking place this week, March 6th to 8th at the University of Alberta in Edmonton.

The University of Calgary women and University of Guelph men will look to defend the team banners later this week at the 2014 CIS indoor track and field championships, in Edmonton.

StFX track and field runners Eilish MacQuarrie and Bryden Tate were honored as the female and male Subway athletes of the week for the week ending February 23, 2014.

The StFX X-Men are the 2014 Atlantic University Sport (AUS) champions. The X-Men claimed their first ever conference championship this past weekend at the two-day event held at the Universite de Moncton.

The StFX X-Women had an impressive performance at the 2014 Atlantic University Sport (AUS) championship, placing second overall at the two-day event held this past weekend at the Universite de Moncton.

The StFX track and field team competed at the Dalhousie Tigers Classic meet on Saturday at the Halifax Canada Games Centre. The meet marked the last competition before the AUS championship, slated for Feb. 22-23 in Moncton.

Athletes from the X-Women and X-Men track and field teams competed at the largest indoor meet in the country this past weekend in Montreal.

X-Women and X-Men track and field athletes are set to compete at the largest indoor meet in Canada this coming weekend at the McGill Invitational in Montreal.

The X-Women track and field team was back in competition this past Saturday at the Nova Scotia Athletics meet held at the Canada Games Centre in Halifax. Third year sprinter Eilish MacQuarrie headlined the X-Women performance with three first place finishes and three personal best times.

The X-Men track and field team was back in competition this past Saturday at the Nova Scotia Athletics meet held at the Canada Games Centre in Halifax. StFX had numerous competitors in the majority of events with several first place finishes.

The X-Women and X-Men track and field teams kicked off their 2013-14 schedule this past weekend competing at the Saint Mary’s Open in Halifax at the Canada Games Centre.

Track and field competition wrapped up this past weekend at the Canada Games in Sherbrooke, Que. with nine athletes with StFX connections posting results in numerous different events.

X-Men track and field runner AJ Doyle is the latest athlete featured in our Getting to Know your X-Women and X-Men series throughout the summer. AJ recently completed his first year with the X-Men and is a Business student from Rexton, NB.

X-Women track & field runner Bridget Brennan is the latest athlete featured in our Getting to Know your X-Women and X-Men series throughout the summer. Bridget recently completed her second year with the X-Women and is a Human Kinetics student from Beechwood, NB.

A significant number of X-Men and X-Women track and field athletes will be representing their various provinces at the upcoming 2013 Canada Games in Sherbrooke, Que. Four X-Women and six X-Men from each of the four Atlantic provinces will be competing at the national games, scheduled for August 2-17.
