Eleven members of the StFX track & field team are heading to Winnipeg, Man. this weekend, March 7-9 to compete at the U SPORTS national championships. It is one of, if not the largest, delegation that StFX has sent to the championship in recent years. Athletes must qualify and earn for certain national standards in their respective events in order to be eligible to compete at the U SPORTS championship.
The X-Men and X-Women track & field teams competed at the 24th annual McGill Team Challenge at the Richard Tomlinson Fieldhouse on Friday and Saturday. The competition is billed as the largest indoor meet in the country, featuring 659 athletes and 20 university teams.
