Four individual athletes and the women’s 4x400m relay team competed at the CIS national championship March 12-14 in Windsor.

The X-Women track & field team claimed second spot overall at the 2015 Subway AUS track & field championship held this past weekend. The X-Women scored 106 points, coming second to the AUS champion Dalhousie Tigers who tallied 165.

Mackenzie Munroe was honored as the AUS male track athlete of the year, while Hayley Wilson received the AUS female rookie of the year award.

The X-Men track & field team claimed third spot overall at the 2015 Subway AUS track & field championship held this past weekend. The X-Men scored 87 points, behind the second place UNB Varsity Reds with 96 and the AUS champion Dalhousie Tigers who tallied 148.5.

The X-Men track and field team competed at the Saint Mary’s Open meet Saturday at the Canada Games Centre, fairing very well with numerous top three finishes.

The X-Women and X-Men track & field teams travelled to Quebec for the 20th annual McGill Team Challenge held January 23rd and 24th at the Richard H. Tomlinson Fieldhouse at the McGill Sports Centre.

The StFX track & field team competed at their first meet of 2015 Saturday at the Canada Games Center as Athletics Nova Scotia hosted the event.

The StFX track & field team competed in their first meet of the AUS season at the Tiger Track Classic on Saturday at the Canada Games Centre. The X-Men are defending AUS champions heading into the 2014-14 circuit.

X-Women track & field sprinter Abbi Finnan is the latest athlete featured in our Getting to Know your X-Women and X-Men series throughout the summer. Abbi recently completed her first year with the X-Women and is a Human Kinetics student from Kingston, Ont.

X-Men track & field athlete Jake McKenna is the latest athlete featured in our Getting to Know your X-Women and X-Men series throughout the summer. Andrew recently completed his second year with the X-Men and is a Business student from Calgary, Alta.
