Offensive Player of the Week
Name: Nykolas Pierre-Masse

Bishop's Gaiters receiver Nykolas Pierre-Masse is the Atlantic University Sport football offensive player of the week for the week ending October 10, 2021.  

The sociology student from Laval, Quebec was heralded "a difference-maker" in the Gaiters' 14-13 victory over the SMU Huskies on Friday night. Pierre-Masse pulled in five catches for 89 receiving yards and scored two touchdowns, including a 13-yard reception to take the lead late in the game's third quarter. He earned the Subway Player of the Game honours for his role in securing the Gaiters' first win of the 2021 AUS season. 

Pierre-Masse has 13 receptions on the season totalling 156 yards, averaging 12 yards per catch. He has scored three of the Gaiters' touchdowns. 

Defensive Player of the Week 
Name: Alex Fedchun
University: St. Francis Xavier University
Position: Defensive Lineman
Hometown: Calgary, Alberta
Year of eligibility: Third
Academic program: Human Kinetics
Height and weight: 6'5", 245lbs 

StFX X-Men defensive lineman Alex Fedchun has been named the AUS football defensive player of the week for the week ending October 10, 2021.   

A human kinetics student from Calgary, AB, Fedchun led the X-Men defense in tackling in Friday night's 21-19 win over Mount Allison's Mounties, with 10.5 tackles including 7 solo tackles. He also had 3.5 tackles for a loss of 17 total yards, including a shared sack.  

Fedchun currently leads the X-Men in total tackles this season with 17.5, and sits third overall in the AUS.  

Special Teams Player of the Week
Name: Connor Ross
University: St. Francis Xavier University
Position: Fullback
Hometown: Coldbrook, Nova Scotia
Year of eligibility: Third
Academic program: Human Kinetics
Height and weight: 6'1", 250lbs 

StFX X-Men fullback Connor Ross is the AUS football special teams player of the week for the week ending October 10, 2021.   

A human kinetics student from Coldbrook, NS, Ross stepped in to play long snapper on field goal and punt return in the X-Men's 21-19 win over Mount Allison's Mounties on Friday night in Sackville. Ross also had two tackles and a key block of an onside kick attempt and added four receptions for 16 yards to StFX's offense.
