McDonald's X-Men Football Offensive Athlete of the Week
X-Men running back Jordan Socholotiuk was named the StFX Football Offensive Player of the Week for the week of Oct. 13, 2018. Jordan, a 4th year Arts student (5th year eligibility) from Waterford, Ont. led all rushers in Saturday's close 12-11 win over Bishop's with 105 total yards on 22 carries, averaging 4.8 yards/carry. Jordan currently leads all of U SPORTS in rushing, averaging 126.0 yards/game with 882 total yards on the season.

X-Men defensive lineman Tyler Cordeiro was named the StFX Football Defensive Player of the Week for the week of Oct. 20, 2018. Tyler, a 5th year Human Kinetics student from Oakville, Ont. was a leader on the X-Men defense in their 12-11 win over Bishop's on Saturday. He had 3 solo and 1 assisted tackle in the game and was a force in the middle taking on and defeating double teams all afternoon. Tyler currently has 31 tackles on the season.

X-Men kicker/punter Keiran Burnham was named the StFX Football Special Teams Player of the Week for the week of Oct. 20, 2018.  Keiran, a 4th year Arts student (3rd year eligibility) from Cambridge, Ont. kicked the game winning field goal from 31 yards out with 7 seconds left in the game to give the X-Men a 12-11 win over Bishop's on Saturday. He also had a field goal from 24 yards in the third quarter, along with 7 punts in the game for 241 yards (34.4 avg) and 4 kick-offs for 221 yards (55.3 avg). Three of his punts were inside the 20. Keiran currently leads the AUS in punting average at 39.7.
